On December 15, 2016, International Turkish Hope School Senior Girls Section observed the 45th Victory Day of the country through a grandiose program at the ITHS Auditorium.
In the presence of the Honorable Chief Guest Adv. Tarana Halim, MP, State Minister for Posts, Telecommunication & Information Technology, the day’s program commenced with a stirring recitation of the National Anthem. After an introductory speech by the Honorable Chairman of ITHS, Mr. Bedrettin Suata, a vibrant display of Bengali culture in the form of dance, patriotic songs and poems accompanied with slideshow presentation, accentuated the sacrifice made during the War of Liberation for the Independence of Bangladesh.
To pay deep homage to the martyrs, the students of ITHS Senior Girls Section put forth a drama performance which has shed light on the plight of the struggles and hardships faced from within and outside the society by the freedom fighters and their families.
The program was concluded with the presentation of a crest along with a gift of appreciation to Adv. Tarana Halim, MP for her contribution to the Victory Day event.
